Chain Conveyors

The Chain Conveyor CT designed and manufactured by Nuova Omma is commonly used in paper mills for the transport of virgin pulp bales and for pulper loading.

It can be designed and manufactured with different features depending on the specific need to remove the bales binding wires: in its basic configuration with the use of a standard transport chain or equipped with a virgin pulp bales lifting system that can be made either with the use of a special chain with teeth or with a pneumatic lifting system.

The Chain conveyor CT is designed with highly reliable mechanical parts with an extreme care of the manufacturing details, like the idle shaft installed on slides for chains tensioning, the polyethylene guides for the chain, the electromechanic sensors for the bales, the supporting structure suitable for the proper installation of load cells for bales weight control, and is designed to work in hard conditions.
