Double Disk Refiner

The double disk refiner designed and manufactured by Nuova Omma is traditionally installed in stock preparation plants, for both waste paper and virgin pulp, to improve fibers characteristics in order get a better sheet formation and enhance its properties.

Designed with a pneumatic positioning system for the disks and complete with an electro-pneumatic control panel with PLC for proper working, the Double disk refiner is manufactured in different sizes (disks from 17” to 31”) depending on fibers characteristics, production of the plant and freeness to be obtained.

The Double disk refiner is equipped with a tested, simple and reliable propeller group for both setting and maintenance and is designed to work in hard conditions.
