Rope Cutter

The Rope cutter designed and manufactured by Nuova Omma is traditionally installed in paper mills as auxiliary machine of continuous pulpers slushing waste paper: it is used for cutting the rope extracted from the Vertical pulper by the Ragger in pieces that can be handled and discharged in a proper and safe system.

Hydraulically operated, the Rope cutter is guillotine type with tempered and hardened blades for an high efficiency cutting also in hard conditions and is complete with a control panel equipped with a PLC for an optimum control of the machine: the panel can be related to the Ragger in order to cut the rope at specific length.

Combining the Rope cutter with other machinery included in our manufacturing program (Vertical pulper, Turbowasher, Ragger, Rotating screen) it is possible to supply complete plants for waste paper pulping.
